Sinusitis

It all started with my sensitive nose long way back... I was diagnosed with rhinitis 3 yrs ago. My GP had prescribed a nose spray for me to use. 6 months later.. i decided to discontinued it and I was well for two years. Until this year, the symptoms came back again but it was on and off. As it doesn't affect my daily routine that much, i ignored it.

Just 3 weeks ago, i was down with bad flu with blood streak in the mucous (think i blow too hard), i didn't suspect that it was rhinitis actually... so my GP prescribed flu medication... a week later, it became more serious that i had to take off from work to rest. I went back to my GP again on the second week. He finally suspected that it could be sinus, so prescribe me with a nasal spray, pills for blocked nose and antibiotics as the mucous was turning yellow. I didn't recover either. My bones ard my eyes and cheeks was hurting, my left ear was having this sharp pain on and off so i went back to doc on the third week which was yesterday.

After diagnosing, I got a shock for a moment when he told it's confirmed that it a "full blown" sinusitis... I went blank... Doc told me the serious consequences. If after these 5-15 days of heavy medications and i still dun recover, i may have to see a surgeon to surgically remove the mucous which had oreadi attacking my facial bones. It's like "punching holes" on my face! I went... huh...

I was given 5 days of a stronger antibiotics, steroids and medication for the blocked nose... awe... heng ah, i only had to take once a day... i had to swallow 7 small pills and 1 big pill... arghh...

So never ignore at the slightest symptoms your nose gave u...

Her Big Day!!

It was an adrenalin-pumping day for the maids and bestmen on this date 28th Mar 2009! We had this mad rush on our make-up, i was literally chasing after the make-up artist to help me do my hair.. keke.. as i had arrived later than the stipulated time. We had a briefing and test march in. The flower gals to walk along the beat of the music... " All my life"... we placed confetti and poppers on the chairs for the invited guests and relatives to throw.

The final moments came, it was so touching when the couple exchanged their vows that my tears almost dropped. After that we went down to the garden to hit pinatas! The two pinatas was hung up on the tree.. we had to take turns to swing our mighty strength to break it! I took the last shot and managed to take it down after my third hit! Bawahaha! The guys was amazed and jawed dropped! We tossed the confetti that was inside the pinatas high up in the air and all of us shouted " HUAT AH!" hahahaha!!

Time to throw that hand bouquet.. obviously i'm least interested at this part... Sheri was the most kan cheong.. she wanted the bouquet badly so we all make way for her and i make sure i was not anywhere ard or behind her cos i dun wan to catch that! Lolz! Alas! the bouquet came raining down at the position where I was standing!!! I dun even have to do anything, and it just landed on my head... i was like... wat the heck!! I was teased the whole night. When we saw the pixs that the photographer had taken, it was like the bouquet was aiming directly at me. But the bride didnt even know where i stood! (Sorry Sheri, I broke your chance of getting off the shelves...)

We had a good 45 mins of break before I took over and handle the recep area where we had to identify the diff areas in which the guests were going to be seated. I briefed the rest of the maids and bestmen... it was shortly before the guest started to stream in... one by one... two by two and family in tow... luckily had grabbed some munch during the 45 mins break earlier.... if not it would had been so embrassing to hear my stomach growling!

I missed out the dancing and saxophone performance by the bride and groom respectively.

Following the usual cake cutting and champange pouring... yum seng... etc... just before the bride and groom were lead off stage, the emcee decided to have some games with the groom... he was blind-folded and made to touch two maids and the bride's hand. He was to identify the bride's hand... the next and last game, the groom was kissed three times and he was to identify which was his wife's kiss... of course all 3 was kissed by his wife loh! We wouldnt wan to kiss him! ROFL!!

And it was time to take pictures, mingle ard with the crowds... I was practically walking up and down, here and there everywhere... After most of the crowds left, I packed up the bridal room, instructed the best men to bring everything to their cars, checked and make sure nothing was left behind before i joined them for boozing...

I ended up very drunk... my man had to practically dragged and carry me home... I was KO cold... awe.... luckily i had changed out of my dress, and was wearing tee and shorts... i toppled here and there when i reached home.. ended up with with quite a few bruisies... this time.. i wan to swear off wines!! The whole nite was just the whites and the reds... and a little leftover waterfall!

Lately when i have the time or i need to take a break... i will turn to fb (facebook). I have fiddling ard with this application called pet society. Tho it's just 2-D but still fun to play. There's was one day when i logon i found my pet surrounded with gifts! It was given by one of my client. That's a very nice gesture of her. From a pauper pet, i become slightly richer overnight... lolz...

"Eventful" month

A month full of events and work. I practically no time to blog until today... I'm on MC, finally and officially down for a day! Things have been going on fine... time was critically every day. It was the busiest month. I was handed with more responsibilities at work... i'm handling not only with HR/admin and PA work but as well as recruitment placement.

Everyday is screening thru hundreds of candidates... until i had to take coffee to keep myself awake. But the whole lot of work is not pulling me down, instead i am happy! Happy that my boss gave me the opportunity to prove my worth and he knows how much I weigh when we tok abt work and process... etc... At times when i couldnt turn up in office, i logged in from home to work. So today wasnt an exception. I will still log in later to do my work later after my blogging and lunch.

The weekends were blocked out this whole month just for my bestie who's getting married. Yesterday was her customary wedding... we had whole lot of fun "tekanning" the groom and his fleet of bestman. I will upload the photo and details later on when the photos are up! Next week will be her solimisation at 1-twenty-six, East Coast Park there! I'm so excited.

She's one truly blessed gal. She went thru alot and finally now embarked on her new journey! I'm really happy for that she's finally "off the shelves" and found a gentleman who had no qualms to accompany her towards her new journey. And she's so well-loved by her man's family. ;D

For me, i had made another 3 new buddies. Tho we all have our diff ways of reacting and toking, we clicked well. It was like putting four multi-cultured group of ppl together. We are so different in terms of dressing, the way we handle our stuffs and analysing ppl... lolz... we only have one thing in common that's our craziness when it comes to boozing. It was a hell break loose when the four of us are togther... the men were defeated completely and flatly on their noses!! ROFL!

I was put in charge of this event for my bestie and her hubby to be... initially we opted for separate event but my bestie said that her man would be very bored as he have fewer friends. So in the end we did both together. It was a nite of showdown between the gals' and boys' power! ROFL!!

Boozing and yakking

Aiyo.. i'm supposed to kick my drinking habits leh.. but end up still drinking. But of course lesser nowadays... The man has become very clinging this week... so manja.. aweee...

Last nite after work, we had an unofficial dinner Neil Road's Himawari with boss, one of my colleague and clients for dinner. The food was nice! My boss remarked that i eat unusally alot... hahaha.... He seldom see me chomped up so much food. I cant finished my food most of the time. But this time round, he caught me eating like no tomorrow... lolz... I had to shut my mouth up with food to keep myself talking lesser (unless i have some serious points to point out) as we have clients ard and i dun wan to be found talking irrelevant topics as we are still having some kind of "serious" discussion. It was only after the senior mgr left, we all started to relax.

After dinner, we headed down to Pump's room at Clarke Quay but it was too crowded. All asked me where i wan to go.. i was like .. huh.. me ah.. i couldnt have any better suggestion other than BQ popped out from my mouth... To my surprise, they are ok! >.<"" I brought them over to Chillz where we had a tower of beer before going over to Bedroom. Chillz was also unusally crowded. The man was at Chillz too... My boss invited him over to join us at Bedroom. Bedroom still okie... with no one at the pool table, my boss and the clients were busy with the pool.. i played only one game. I dun like to win my clients. Afterall they are still clients... so i stick to one friendly game and leave the rest to my boss and colleague. We had abt 4 buckets of beer (which is ard 20 bottles for 4 ppl who drank beer) before i decided to call it a day.. and it was oreadi 4am... i'm not exactly tired but just wan to go home and rest. So i told my boss i had better get going and he too agreed that i shld go...

Wat a night of boozing and yakking.... it was great to know this client... they are one bunch of partying freaks... and i was "awarded" with a title... "Cheong Queen" by the HR exec... omg... it's gonna be another topic on me again on monday when i'm back atoffice... >.<""

Pub and Bears

This was taken about one and half week ago. We supposed to drink in the pub and the man was doing this in the pub... cant imagine they have this kind of machine in the pub... thot only can find this in arcade...

The first mousy bear he caught. It was the one I like and i didnt told him this was the one. This mousy reflects like me.. likes to hug pillow or anything that's huggable... It's sooo cute lor...

Next he caught this brown bear... i was laughing my head off.. cos it look like him.. so dark coloured! ROFL!! When i said that, he BITE me!! And he really bite me hard!! I restorted back with a big smack to his butt!

Lastly, this was caught by me.. it's the most difficult catch of the day, alot of ppl had wanted this bear but couldnt catch after spending tons of coins but yours truly here caught it with $2/= (2 trys only)!!

Ahhh I forgot to mention, i used to catch these kind of toys in Marina Sq years ago... hmnn seems that my skills still okie... The man and the rest just look on at me bewildered. Even the pub's boss commented i'm so lucky.... Teeeheee....

Now these 3 bearies joined the rest of my furries on my sofa...
